Community fruit tree planting day

Love Grey Lynn Park? Here is an opportunity to take part in a planting day to start a community orchard. This project was originally proposed by Grey Lynn 2030.

Saturday 15 September 10am – midday

Meet at the corner of Baildon Road and Schofield street

This is a fun planting event for all ages and no previous gardening experience is necessary.  Support by the Waitemata Local Board

Light refreshments will be provided.

• Equipment to bring:
• a spade and gloves
• sturdy shoes or boots (jandals are not suitable)
• a raincoat and warm clothing
• hat, sunglasses and sunscreen if it’s a sunny day
