Press Release on Bunnings from the Arch Hill Residents:  20 May 2013

We are pleased to advise that at 11.40am on final submission day (20th May 2013), over 45 official submissions were hand delivered to Council into the care of Mr David Oakhill by Sue Lyons and Katie Sutherland on behalf of Arch Hill residents.  In addition to the submissions, there were close to 40 letters of concern, which were attached to the Arch Hill Residents Incorporated submission to ensure that they could be considered.

A petition was also presented which currently has 550+ signatures from the community objecting to the proposed site for the Bunnings Hardware Centre at 272-302 Great North Road. Residents are now awaiting formal acknowledgement of submissions and next steps in the process towards what we assume will culminate in a formal hearing.
