The Park Workshop
Learn to create your own ‘pollen painting’ through hands-on design. Extend your knowledge about ecology and the interconnection between plants, bees, humans and natural systems using contemporary art and design tools. The workshop begins with a presentation from artist’s Sarah Smuts-Kennedy and Taarati Taiaroa and embarks on an active time for participants to design a garden through 3D space, drawing and painting. Attendees take home a design to practically realize their ‘pollen painting’ and the knowledge of how to develop a vibrant and robust ‘pollen hotel’ to share with their friends, families and neighbours.
Workshop 1 : Grey Lynn Community Centre,
510 Richmond Road
Sat 10 May (2pm – 4pm)
