The book’s intention is to capture the power of the grassroots approach taken by the various groups that came out of Grey Lynn 2030, and how these have shaped the economic and environmental structure of what we know as Grey Lynn, today. This is a remarkable achievement for a volunteer organisation! Having a written record of how ordinary people created extraordinary things within their community provides inspiration for generations to come, and hope for a better, more sustainable future.
