Bike Valet Shifts at Auckland Writers Festival
Bike Auckland – Auckland Writers’ Festival Bike Valet
Shifts (May 17 & 18)
Bike Auckland is looking for volunteers to help deliver the Bike Valet Service at the Auckland Writers Festival. Volunteering at Bike Valet is a great way to meet Bike Auckland crew, and connect with other keen cyclists using our Valet service.
Valets are Bike Auckland’s main interface with the bike-riding public amd get new members, volunteers and newsletter subscribers. It’s a key part of the Bike Auckland’s mission mobilising people for a better city on bikes.
Vlunteers who can do one of the longer 4+-hour shifts 2 tickets to one event, or 1 ticket to 2 events after your shift.
If you can’t commit to 4-hours, we also need relief volunteers for 1-2 hours to give our team breaks throughout the day.

8am-12pm | Meeting at City Storage in Eden Terrace on your bike, accompanying Shift Supervisor and our gear trailer to Aotea Centre, helping set up, delivering the service. |
12pm-4:30pm | Delivering the service alongside the Shift Supervisor at Aotea Centre | |
4:30pm-8:30pm | Delivering the service, pack-up, riding with the Shift Supervisor back to City Storage in Eden Terrace. | |
10:30am, 1pm, 3:30pm, 6pm | 1+ hour relief shifts starting around these times | |
Sunday 18 May
|
