About Grey Lynn Creates
Grey Lynn Creates was aweek-long festival that was held during the Rugby World Cup 2011, 25th September – 2nd October, celebrating creativity and sustainability in our local community.
With a programme of free events suitable for all ages, people of the community and visitors alike are invited to experience and participate in the local artistic, cultural, culinary and environmental happenings across the week.
The programme spanned areas of Art, Performance, and Community.
Grey Lynn Creates, aligned with the aims of Grey Lynn 2030, seeks to bring together and advance our community through positive, local initiatives.
Grey Lynn Creates is generously supported by the New Zealand Lottery Grants Board and is a part of the nationwide REAL New Zealand Festival.
